you to visualise the essential elements of your infoSystem and their interconnections.

What is the InfoSystem Model Canvas (IMC)?

L’InfoSystem Model Canvas (IMC) is a visual and structured model, a true strategic map, designed as a fundamental tool in our approach to information management. It serves as a clear and concise template to represent the various essential elements that make up your infoSystem, the information ecosystem of your organisation.

You have to imagine the IMC as a concept map or overall diagram which gives you an overview of how information is managed within your company.

Why is the IMC essential?

The main objective of the IMC is to facilitate the development of a representation of all the components of your infoSystem which is understood and shared by all stakeholders – that is, everyone having power or an interest in the management of information.

Much more than a simple inventory, the IMC is a powerful communication and collaboration tool. It allows you to:

To record the results of this first exercise over time, the information is then digitised in a digital platform.
