What is an infoSystem?
At Exquando, we define an infoSystem as a dynamic and comprehensive system that integrates not only information in all its forms (data, documents, multimedia), but also everything that surrounds it: hardware, software, operating rules, and, above all, people and their environment. All these elements interact constantly, forming a true functional unit.
Beyond the classic information system
The infoSystem therefore differs from the traditional concept of an information system, often limited to the technological infrastructure (hardware and software) for data management.
For us, the key to the success of digital transformation projects lies in the ability to understand and actively manage the infoSystem, this global ecosystem, rather than focusing solely on IT tools.

As Donella Meadows explains, a system is not just a collection of elements; it’s an interconnected system, organised to achieve a specific goal. Within this framework, the flow of information is one of the most vital connections, and the purpose of the system is its main driving force.
